Why this exists

Most tools that claim to fix a wet or dusty phone speaker ask you to install an app first, just to play a sound your browser can already produce. Clean My Speaker skips that step: open the page, tap Start, and the tool runs entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. No download, no account, no permissions beyond the ones the feature you're using actually needs.

What it actually does

The tool plays calibrated audio tones designed to vibrate a speaker's diaphragm at a rate that can help dislodge trapped water droplets or dust from behind the mesh grille — the same underlying idea behind the Water Eject shortcut built into watchOS. It's not magic and it's not a repair service: it helps with debris and moisture sitting in the grille, and it won't fix a physically damaged speaker coil or torn diaphragm. We say this plainly because a tool that overpromises isn't actually useful to you.

Why it's split across a few pages

A phone's main speaker, its earpiece, and its microphone are three different openings with three different failure symptoms — "calls sound muffled" is a different problem from "music sounds tinny," which is different again from "people can't hear me." Rather than cram all three into one page, each has its own tool and its own explanation, so you can go straight to the one that matches what's actually wrong.
