What the Site is

Clean My Speaker is a free browser tool that plays audio tones intended to help vibrate water or dust out of a phone, laptop, or accessory speaker. It runs entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. It is a utility, not a repair service, and not a substitute for professional device repair.

Safety disclaimer. The tool caps volume, ramps gain in and out smoothly, and limits every cycle to a short duration. Even so, playing audio at high volume for extended periods carries some risk to hearing and to speaker hardware. Do not hold a device directly against your ear while a cycle is running, do not run cycles back-to-back for extended periods, and stop immediately if a cycle causes discomfort. Use the Site at a volume and duration you're comfortable with.

No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the tool will remove water or dust from your specific device, or that it will work on every device or browser.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage to your device, hearing, or any other loss arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to speaker damage, hearing discomfort, or a device that remains damaged after using the tool. If you believe your device has water damage beyond a blocked speaker grille, stop using the tool and consult a qualified repair technician.

Your responsibilities

  • You're responsible for judging whether running an audio cycle is appropriate for your device and situation.
  • You won't use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
  • You won't attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Site's functionality as your own product without permission.

Third-party services and advertising

The Site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and may load fonts from Google Fonts. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which are outside our control. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, copy, and code are owned by us unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to use the tool personally; you may not copy the site's design or content wholesale for a competing product without permission.

Changes to the Site or these terms
